Jesus saw a lot of suffering people during his time and he knows better than anyone that universal healthcare is the only humane decision for a government to make. He wasn’t out there washing the feet of the wealthy merchants, he took care of the sick, the diseased, the hurting and struggling.

Here are a few reasons why Jesus loves Abortions:

Protecting the Vulnerable: Jesus prioritized the well-being of the downtrodden and those in need. If a woman faced a difficult pregnancy due to poverty, health risks, or lack of support, Jesus might advocate for prioritizing her well-being. In such situations, abortion prevents the woman’s death or further suffering. Abortion gives her the chance to actively participate in her own life, parent her other children and tend to life’s many other responsibilities.

Focus on Intent over Action: Jesus often emphasized the importance of good intentions. If a woman facing an unwanted pregnancy made a difficult choice for what she believed was best, Jesus would offer understanding and compassion rather than condemnation. Since Jesus knows he himself will never understand what pregnancy is like, his advice would be to “rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15) which basically means to support a woman’s decision to end her pregnancy. Gestation has value and Jesus wouldn’t dream of devaluing a woman that way, not if he’s as sweet and loving as y’all say.

Women’s Autonomy and Choice: The Bible talks about personal choices, and it says to “trust God’s will” which, imho is part of the problem. Religion teaches people to distrust and ignore their inner voices in favor of whatever religious leaders of the day are selling. But we’ve all got intuition, God speaks through us. Jesus spoke of individual responsibility, which, for many women, means removing that clump of cells before it turns into a baby. It’s a tough cross to bear but Jesus is reasonably interpreted as respecting a woman’s right to make choices about her own body. If a woman felt an abortion was necessary for her well-being or future, Jesus would support her right to make that decision because Jesus knows that stewing in a sloshy wet puddle of contempt doesn’t help anyone trying to develop human features. Jesus loves children and he knows they deserve to be born into happy healthy homes and communities and if a woman is unable to or unwilling to provide that, Jesus would never punish the entire family by forcing them all to exist in that situation. Nobody benefits from that.
